1) Who we are

2) Scope

This notice applies to everyone who visits or shops on our site. For cookies and similar technologies, see our separate Cookie Policy.

3) Personal data we process

  • Identification & contact: name, email, billing and shipping addresses. (Phone number only if you choose to give it, and only for delivery/support.)
  • Account data: login details, preferences, settings.
  • Orders & transactions: items viewed/purchased/returned, order IDs, totals, VAT, timestamps.
  • Payments: handled by our payment providers, we do not store full card numbers.
  • Messages: emails you send us (support, reviews).
  • Device & usage: IP, browser/device info, pages viewed, interactions, approximate location (via cookies/SDKs).
  • Marketing choices & consent logs.
  • Sources: what you provide, what we collect automatically, updates from service providers (e.g., payment status, shipping events).

4) Why we use your data (our legal bases in plain English)

  • To run the store and deliver your order – create your order, take payment, arrange fulfilment and delivery, handle returns, and provide support.
  • To meet legal duties – e.g., tax and accounting rules, responding to lawful requests.
  • For our legitimate interests – keep our services secure, prevent fraud/abuse, maintain and improve quality, defend or enforce legal claims.
  • With your shopify– non-essential cookies/analytics/marketing, newsletters, personalised ads. You can withdraw consent anytime in the footer’s Cookie settings or by contacting us.

5) Who we share data with

We share data only when needed with:

  • Service providers (processors): our ecommerce/hosting platform, IT/security, analytics and consent tools, fulfilment and shipping partners.
  • Payment providers (independent controllers): see below.
  • Marketing partners (shopify.
  • Advisers or authorities when the law requires or to protect our rights.
    We do not sell your personal data.

Payment providers (independent controllers)
When you choose a payment method, the relevant provider acts as an independent controller for your payment data. We pass only what’s necessary (e.g., name, billing/shipping details, order ID/amount, limited device/transaction data). We do not store full card numbers.

Note: Apple Pay and Google Pay are wallets that pass a tokenised payment to the underlying processor, they don’t share your full card number with us.

6) International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the EEA (for example, in the United States). When this happens, they use recognised safeguards such as EU adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses (and additional measures where appropriate). You can ask us for details at support@pumpcore.eu.

7) Retention (how long we keep data)

  • Account data: while your account is active (and a short period after, to resolve issues).
  • Orders/transactions: as long as tax and accounting laws require.
  • Support emails: as long as needed to handle your request and for record-keeping.
  • Marketing consents: until you change your mind or the data becomes obsolete.
    When no longer needed, we delete or anonymise data.

8) Your privacy rights (EU/EEA)

You can access, correct, delete, or restrict your data, ask for a copy (portability), and object to certain uses (including direct marketing). If we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To use your rights, email support@pumpcore.eu, we may ask for proof of identity.
You can also complain to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) or to your local data protection authority.

9) Cookies & similar tech

We use cookies to make the site work (security, login, checkout) and — if you agree — for analytics and marketing. Non-essential cookies only run after consent via our banner (Accept all / Reject non-essential / Customise). Change your choices anytime via Cookie settings in the footer. 10) Children

Our services are not specifically intended for persons under 18 years of age
We do not perform age verification and we do not offer age-restricted content
If you are under 18 do not provide personal data and do not make a purchase
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has provided data please email support@pumpcore.eu and we will delete the relevant information

11) Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege, backups). No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

12) Automated decisions

We do not make decisions solely by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects. We may use automated anti-fraud checks, with human review.

13) Changes

If we update this notice, we’ll post the new version here and change the “Last updated” date. For important changes, we’ll provide extra notice where appropriate.
